Recently, Canoa Quebrada has been paved, making it a great option for those who want to enjoy the vast Brazilian coastline in peace. At night, both locals and tourists gather on the main street, lovingly nicknamed “Broadway,” and groove to the rhythm of Reggae and Forró.

These cliffs are enchanting up close and have inspired the sand art known as “silicogravura,” which has spread throughout Brazil. Silicogravura involves intricately carved designs on small glass bottles, popularly known as “garrafinhas.”
